I'm back!

I cannot guarantee that I'll get all the missed events in this one post...but, I'll try...

Jacob received all his potty training toys...in about 2 days...was pottying correctly for approx. 72 hours with 1-2 accidents! Yaaa! Well, guess what...the surprises stopped and so did he! So, now his daddy has made the executive decision to take his surprises away one by one with every accident. Ava said...make sure you take the ones he really really loves! She's catching on fast! Anyway, doesn't seem to b phasing him much....maybe need to go back to very small surprises again to lift the morale/get into a habit of knowing when to run to bathroom??? Seems if we keep reminding him...every 30 minutes...he makes it. But, if we let up for 5 minutes, he'll get busy doing something and forget about it...don't know if he is being lazy or really just ignores the fact that he is peeing down his leg! AAAGGGHHH!

Took family pictures with Abby on Saturday before Tgiving. It was very painful to say the least. Trying to get everyone to remain fully dressed, in place, sitting still, and smiling was impossible. We wanted to try and do pics at our house to personalize it a bit. Abby posted them this morning...she is amazing...she was able, amazingly, to get some good shots...or maybe she just really edited well!

We went shopping on Black Friday...as usual....i always try to go and take a group. This year, I had a new group, with the exception of B. Ash...she went last yr too...We left at 430 am and got home around 630. Jodi Knepp, Darla Knepp (Craig), her daughter Megan, Britt, and me. Quite a group. We went to a thousand different stores. By 9 or 10 am, we could not see out of any window of the tahoe. It was pretty hilarious. We had 5 christmas trees in the back...plus all the other stuff. I know I was beat...I can't imagine having shopped any longer, but I wouldn't have complained if we had hit a few more stores. Honestly, though...I have no idea where we would have put anymore...we were about ready to buy some rope and start strapping to the luggage rack on top. No one got mugged anywhere, but I thought I was gonna have to go postal at Walmart...on the lady who kept hitting my cart. Sorry...but at 5am, you just don't want to rub me the wrong way. Oh well, no drama incurred.

Back to work this week. I was off from Wed. till Tues. and now am fighting the work demands. I guess I'm spoiled...I didn't get the work gene from either of my parents. I think I fake it pretty well though. I try not to mope around or b lazy, but sometimes it just is inevitable. Was sickly over the weekend (so was mom) and haven't fully recovered. Seems like since I had Jacob, I just don't recover very fast.

I wanted to post some pics, but found that my data cable is missing. So, I'll try to find it and post some later...

Our team of shoppers have a "No Cart" rule for early bird specials...that way you can zig zag in and out of the cart crashes! ha ha...and as the lady told my niece..."well you are just going to have that happen!" ha ha..I was the main one who had Carrie's burb packed to the top. One year B.C. (before children) someone bought one of those craftsman tool boxes...and it was packed down the middle...so Carrie and I couldn't even see each other from each side of the vehicle! Got to love it! Hope you get feeling well!!
