We had a fish die this morning...DOA when we got to the kitchen...no meltdowns, but Ava is pretty sure it died of loneliness, so we cleaned the bowl and took the remaining fish (Goldie) to her room where it would get more attention...I hope it doesn't die tonight. I wanted to flush Whiskers (the dead one), but she thought we should throw it in the pond so the other fish could have "something to eat"...she is so tenderhearted...
We're getting ready for the Montgomery home tour on Oct. 5...I think my mom is more nervous about having everything ready than I am...I'm not one to get worked up about the house and everything being perfect...take it as it comes and if you don't like the way it is...it's not my problem...may sound coldhearted, but it's how I choose to live...there are more important things in life than spending all your time working...we can do that when our babies are grown up...Anyway, if anyone wants to buy a ticket, Brittany Ash is selling them and would be glad to have your business...the proceeds go to the senior class for the trip to NY and DC...and it would be a fun day...
Here are some pics from the last couple weeks...
Uncle Ray and the kids at Country Grandma's house

This is Jacob playing with Mama Phyllis...she's not really his grandma, but she babysat me from newborn till I was too old to be babysat...we still try and visit her and Don frequently...I wish she'd sit my kids like she did me...such a sweet lady...
