Ava loves her little brother dearly. But deep in her heart, she would love to have a baby sister to dress up, play dolls with, etc. Well, Jacob caught the raw end of that deal the other night. She put on a matching nightgown and told him he was a girl, despite what we have always told him. Yes, my 5 yr old is trying to brainwash my 3 yr old. He did really look cute in the dress...He will hate me for this later, but it was just so darn cute! He ended up sleeping in the gown, so he must not have despised it too bad!

This is too cute...I did the same thing to my brother when he was little...I used to call him Baby Michelle (I still do, sometimes)...even got a picture of him in his girly outfit...Love it. Now he is such MAN, but dresses really good, something good that came out of the experience. Hehehe:)

Kevin gets so mad at me when we play with Karson like this. He doesn't like when he plays with baby dolls either. He claims he doesn't want to influence him in any way! :) haha.. I told him playing with dolls will make him a good big brother and daddy some day!
this is sooo cute! my cousin and i were only 4 mo. apart (i'm older) and he had a big red curly fro and i used to put bows and barrets in his hair all the time! and make him dress up in slips and high heels :) plus i always made him have the pink high heels of my grandma's and i wore the red! lol. good good memories!
thanks for the prayers for ryan~ i know his hernia hurts more then he lets on b/c last night he coughed and then grabbed himself b/c it hurt! poor guy! we go thurs. at 4:10 for his consult w/ the surgeon.
as for jake- our family dr./pediatrician told me not to worry about them as long as they are potty trained by kindergarten! obviously, that doesn't help the mommy stress though! lucky for me B potty trained easily, but sonya's girl hailey wasn't potty trained until she was 3 1/2 and she's a girl! have you tried the sticker chart thing?? i think that is what sonya finally did... b/c hailey was terrified of the potty!
