When I got home last night (after an hour long trip from Jasper...just figured the sun would have melted more snow/ice than it did)...my husband was already home, the kids had already roped him into a wii bowling tournament...well Ava anyway...I'm not sure how serious Jacob was about it...they had already decided to order pizza from Mr. Gattis...he said that's what Ava wanted...even though we've been eating Mr. Gattis pizza since Friday...she failed to mention that everyone else was tired of pizza:) They already had their baths (wonderful babysitter!), so we were parked in the living room by 7...playing the Ladybug game and watching tv. Our bedtime ritual started around 8 and I think my body landed in bed by 9...pretty good really. Jacob went right to sleep and stayed that way all night. Ava kept waking up saying that she was having bad dreams about moles...yes moles...I have no idea where she's ever heard or learned about moles. She said their big buck teeth were chomping holes in our floor and they were coming in and getting in her bed. She was camped out in our bed by around 2am...she sneaks in when we are sleeping and we, honestly, don't know it some nights...until we wake in the morning. I kept dreaming about Dr. Ruff doing foot liposuction on me...crazy I know. I think we've seen Dr. Ruff too much lately????
Jacob was without fever all day and ate a good supper...his throat is still swollen, but I think better...and his neck is still swollen (lymph nodes...you could actually see the swelling at one point), but he is acting better. I could tell he wasn't "normal" yet, but maybe getting there???
That's all for now...we have no exciting plans this week...the kids were excited about going to see our babysitter's new niece (born last week) today...they'll probably spend the day there...Marsh is all about her family...the kids get a lot of love out there...They had a work day yesterday at our house and usually the rest of the week, they spend maintaining the house/laundry and doing fun things...

Jamie- sounds like you guys are having a rough time getting healthy! hopefully you're through the worst of it! No fun having sick kiddos... or being sick yourself!
I am glad to hear that Jake is feeling alittle better.
Jamie - I love Ava's dream. Sounds like something Emma would come up with. BTW, after giving you a hard time about your kids being sick our family of four was hit with the stomach flu. Should have kept my mouth shut. :)
Hope every one is feeling better! Griffin is our middle of the night visitor in our bed...he used to wake us up now he just jumps right in and goes to sleep. It doesn't bother me the girls were the same way..when they start school they are so exhausted no fussin with bedtime and they sleep ALL night in their beds, except for an occasional nightmare, which is rare now. I just enjoy the snuggle time while I can!
Foot liposuction?????!!!!!
