I spoke too soon:)

Yes...my last posting said everyone was better. Well, little did I know that sickness at our house was only taking a break...soon to return...Wed night last week, Jake didn't want to go to Puggles class at church...he never really wants to go, but after I shove him in and shut the door, I think he usually enjoys himself somewhat. So, I took him with me and left Ava...got home, and fever has been 104-104.5 since. He has not eaten since then. just started drinking again yesterday. I made him suffer it out until saturday...I called my good friend AWagg and she took a look at him since she was at urgent care (thank God she was there). Yep...throat looked like crap. He was the welcome recipient of a bicillin shot in his right leg. OMG....he is still running 103-104 today and is just now starting to put weight on that leg. He has done nothing but lay on the couch for almost a week. If any of you know Jacob, you know that is abnormal. Poor little guy...this morning said,,,mommy...I need you to stay home and take care of me...I'm sick...mememember???? I'm a bad mother...I came to work. We're planning our weekly visit to Dr. Ruff on Wednesday:)
Daddy should be home tonight...he always misses the good times at home:)...but I'm sure he'll get his fill tonight and the rest of the week...momma is taking a break!
Anyway, Jake is by no means out of the woods...his throat is still very swollen and he's kinda scarin me at night...a lot of snoring and drooling...tonsils are not touching anymore, but I keep checking with the flashlight. Those little airways are too fragile not to worry! So, say a little prayer for him and Ava that she can fight these germs again. And me...the last time I had strep throat (only time in my life), I thought i was gonna die. and now being pregnant!!! AAGGHHH!! I know I've been kissin on him, so hope my immune system is at its strongest!

Geez Jamie! What are you doing to those poor babies? I will be praying for all of you. I know those times at home without your spouse can be just as painful for you as it is for the poor child.

you know...I've always wondered why my babies always seem to get it the worst? My kids never have 101 fevers...normal or 105! Their whole lives! I guess they could really have something serious...should b grateful for little colds, etc.
