What a weekend! I tell ya...I believe, more than ever, that we have to be ready to go at every millisecond! With J.M.'s passing and now a very dear physician...what tragedies. I'm grateful, however, that no suffering was involved. Just goes to show that God is in control...no doctor can predict our life sustainance (?sp). We can go to our doctors for help and advice (and please keep doing so, so I can keep my job), but ultimately, we have to rely, solely, on Him. Jasper is pretty devastated, as is Washington and surrounding communities. Dr. D. was a hard-working, compassionate, christian man who never said a foul word to anyone (that I know of). I can think of many instances where I have called his office to ask advice about a heart patient of mine. Usually, you get the nurse, but when I called, he always got on the phone and talked until I was done. Never acted bothered or put out. That's pretty remarkable, comparatively speaking (most docs don't have time). Anyway, please keep Beth, Adam, and the family in your prayers...also the office staff, Dr. L., Josh, etc. I'm sure there is some pretty serious grieving going on over there.
